Positive: We stayed here just after new year and it was perfect for a family of 4, lots of room, great facilities and the hot tub was brilliant. We will definitely come back.

Positive: Comfortable beds, lovely lodge. Private hot tub. Most cooking utensils and crockery that we needed. Good location, not too far from Malton village via Taxi where there are some lovely pubs

Negative: Instructions on how to use the oven could have been left out. Took a while to work out it was gas and how to light, especially as the switch was hidden behind jars on the wall. Radiator in the twin bathroom was mucky and looked like someone had vomited on it which hadn't been cleaned and there was a big makeup swirl on the back of the bathroom door. Small issue on arrival we'd been given the wrong code for accessing the lock box which meant we had to call the Out of hours number where there was a question as to which lodge we should be in v's code given. Not ideal as it was later at night and we were all hungry. Was sorted with the helpful chap on night duty though. Thanks

Positive: Lodge was beautiful. Modern decor. Plenty of space and super clean. Easy access via code for the gate and keys were in a lock box. Lodge had most cooking equipment we needed for the weekend and provided plastic glasses for use in the hot tub. Bonus with a wine cooler. Hot tub provided the cherry on the cake. Super comfortable and relaxing weekend.

Negative: Nothing in particular was wrong but we notes a few things that could make the stay even better: Later Check out - 11am or 12pm would be good. Pillows were a little flat (Small niggle) Would have been nice to have a "welcome pack" with Milk and a few toiletries as there is no shop on site and quite a distance to the shops. There were some fixtures that needed fixing ie Toilet roll holders in both bathrooms, step to the entrance and the patio needed a bit of a jet wash. Still quite a bit of green visbible. DIrections to the bin storage would also be useful EV Charge point was out of order on arrival. Had to charge at the Tesco nearby.

Summary: A perfect retreat for relaxation! Enjoyed the entire weekend.
