Positive: Went back to school to re-learn tranquillity; seems at Eastern Hill to be elementary 🏫😎👍 🌲 😴

Negative: It was all great value for money with further benefit to come with some blockout curtains (to cover the gaps not covered by the other block out blinds… )

Summary: We’ll be back and with more kids to educate on the benefits of nature over screen 📺 time… lol 😂

Positive: Love that the place is so secluded and in nature. The local wildlife are everywhere and if feels like you are miles away from civilisation but the town is just there.

Negative: Driveway was a bit rough going in but that is all i can say.

Summary: If you want peace and quiet, I highly recommend this place.

Positive: Kangaroos and serenity of property were really nice. A place where you can look out your window & think you’re in the middle of no-where, with town facilities less than 5 min drive away.

Negative: Weather was cold, but its winter. Heaters were fantastic!

Positive: Breakfast?? Location...ideal

Negative: The check in procedure could have been more organised.............by providing clearer instructions on which room we had, and thus recognise the key pad entry............plus have given us the right access code.............the hotel staff where we were directed to pick up the key were most gracious in trying to sort out the problem.........and the fellow from the bottle shop next door to the pub was very considerate in coming back to the room to identify which room was ours and how the key pad worked...........which we could not see as in the afternoon it was in direct sunlight and therefore the numbers were indistinct It would have been good to have a full set of cutlery, glasses and something in which to wash up the dirty dishes.........rather than the bathroom vanity sink The property is starting to look a little tired and could do with some tidy up maintenance and a lick of paint ........externally

Summary: Overall..pleasant once the hic-cups were sorted out

Positive: A bit of luxury in tastefully renovated cabin. Fantastic bush location, close to town. Luxurious studio apartment, shower room and fittings. Quality towels, linen and bedding. Exceptional bush outlook from spacious, quiet cabin with every facility one could need, surrounded by acres of tranquil, natural bush. Exceptionally well styled and presented .

Positive: Very nice location, private, relaxing environment, comfortable room. Walking distance to town. Nice walk to nearby lake. Lots of Eastern Gray Kangaroos around. Heating/cooling unit worked well.

Negative: Lack of hanging space for anything - coats, hats, clothes. Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom. Nowhere to put bags, these end up on the seating or the small coffee area. The room has sufficient space to provide an area for clothing and bags, so this needs attention. There is a problem with the septic and the smell was unpleasant, with water flowing across the driveway. There was only green tea and coffee (no black tea) provided. Clearly, the place is a work in progress, and I'm sure it will only improve with time.

Summary: Peaceful, relaxing, rustic. Creswick is a great little town. Definitely worth the visit.
