Positive: Great location. Was trying to find somewhere not too far from Finsbury Park for Fontaines DC gig, but everywhere was extortionate. Found this, four stops away, in Walthamstow and it was half the price of most other places I'd come across. Close to tube station and high street, so really handy. Room was a decent size and surprisingly cool, given that it was on the first floor (and I'm the hottest woman on Earth). Very handy having a fridge to store food and drinks, although we didn't use the rest of the kitchen's facilities as we brought our own cups and plates, etc. and didn't need to cook anything while we were there. Shower was decent, relatively powerful. Nice to stay somewhere with a window in the bathroom so that we could open it to let the steam and condensation out. Very easy check-in process, sent over via message and all went according to plan.

Negative: Could do with a bit more of a thorough clean, although I did bring anti-bac spray and wipes after reading some of the other reviews, so gave everywhere a wipe over before we settled in. Shower definitely in need of a good scrub though. Mattress and pillows rock hard and the bed was just generally noisy when one person moved/got up to use the toilet in the night. Having said this, we were so tired for the two nights we slept there that we slept really well, albeit with achy backs the next day!

Positive: Great little property, great location as only a couple of minutes walk from the tube station. Modern property even included a washing machine which was even better.

Negative: Only issue with the property was that the bed wasn’t overly comfortable and was very loud. All you had to do was sit in it or roll over and it made such a loud noise. Also you could hear the people in the upstairs quite a lot but wasn’t a major issue as we weren’t in the apartment that much during the day.

Summary: Modern apartment with everything needed, great location, just needs a comfier bed.

Positive: The location was great and free parking a real bonus. The bed was very lumpy but surprisingly comfortable and we slept really well.

Negative: Sadly the bathroom wasn't as clean as I would expect. There was dust and debris behind the bathroom door, the toilet brush exterior was covered in bits of toilet paper and a used cotton bud and other bits were visible on the floor either side of the sink unit. The kitchen was understocked - just one beer glass and one prosecco glass - neither suitable for the wine I had taken. The 2 mugs were really stained and the only cleaning cloth was a used foam scrubber.

Summary: Great location, but needs much better cleaning and crockery/glassware needs replacing.
