Summary: The room was sufficient, simple, and cozy. Met all my basic needs. I saw northern lights out at night. I wish Red Pine Reality wouldn't have left lights on the entire night to pollute the sky. Every cough, step, and voice of the people above you will be heard, so I would suggest earplugs and noise canceling headphones so you sleep well. But otherwise, a nice cozy stay.

Summary: Our purpose for trip was hubby’s photography and the occurrence of a Super Blue Moon. We wanted more of the beach cabin vibe and this unit delivered! The expanse of Lake Superior at Grand Marais was right in our window and just a few short steps from the door. Private. Well thought out accommodations with easy access for us with some mobility limits (e.g., no stairs). The only challenge was the very low toilet, but we managed. I would definitely stay at this lovely location again❣️

Summary: Overall a great place to stay. You couldn’t get closer to the beach. Walking distance to restaurants and the boat landing. We enjoyed the views from our room. We love this town. The room is small, but very clean and we enjoyed the coffee. Be aware that the lower unit can hear all movement, conversation and coughing in the room above.
