Summary: Fantastic location right in the heart of Key West! Absolutely wonderful vacation that was made possible by the great staff and atmosphere at The Duval House. Very welcoming and prompt communication, the free drink at check in is a great way to start your down time. Breakfast has an assortment of pastries, fruit, home made yogurt parfaits and be sure not to miss the waffle! The cabana rooms are quite small but the square footage is covered when you book the room, it was just a bit of a shock. Regardless of the size the bed was very comfortable, the room was clean, and at the end of the day it's just a place to sleep and shower, the grounds of the property are where we spent most of our time while at the hotel. There's all sorts of hidden treasures here; fish ponds, the huge courtyard tree, a hammock and a covered gazebo, and a few cats running around as well! Thank you to the staff for a great vacation!

Summary: Our second stay. We will be back. From the front office staff to the maintenance folks all were so friendly to us always asking if we were good or needed anything. Could not have been a more comfortable three nights.

Summary: Great location to everything! Property is very lush with plants and cute areas to sit and enjoy them. We went in September and had a lot of rain at the start of the trip, so the pool was dirty and cold. Some of the lounge chairs were torn. We were in a room that was behind the breakfast area. It was very small and far from the other couples we stayed with. Bathroom was tiny but had the amenities that we needed. Vanity was missing handles and flooring was peeling up and separating it could use repair. They do not clean the room during your stay which we didn’t care for. It would have been nice to have the floors cleaned and garbage taken out.They were doing some seasonal repairs to the deck so the main walkway from the lobby to the rooms was blocked off. While it was inconvenient, it was understandable. The daily breakfast was very nice and the servers were great. Roosters were very good at waking you up at 5am. It was not a bad stay, but there were things that could be improved on.

Summary: Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Unfortunately renovations were being done during our visit so it was a little inconvenient getting to the pool and breakfast area. The pool was not heated and the water was cold. Not much sun hits the water. There are beautiful garden area with a hammock to relax and listen to the water fountain. Nice perk getting a welcome drink upon arrival. We loved our balcony view of Duval street. Would definitely stay here again.
