Summary: This hotel is definitely not 5 star! Run down, cockroaches in the lobby and in the bedroom. Breakfast was terrible, had rancid butter, decided not to eat there the next 2 mornings although included. Went to eat at the restaurant on the first night but changed our minds when we were ignored and saw the bugs. We asked to check out early, but because we booked non refundable they said nothing could be done. The view to the beach is obscured by hawker stands and a large branch fell off the tree and nearly hit us Our son who lives in Thailand was shocked how bad it was , especially when he found out what we paid. At checkout no one even asked if we had enjoyed our stay, not the usual Thai hospitality
