Positive: This is a great little apartment with plenty of room and a Parisian view over the rooftops. We really enjoyed our stay here which was helped by how comfortable and clean and roomy it was, it's great location, presence of nearby shoes and ease of travelling everywhere on the metro, as well as the great welcome from the manager.

Negative: Nothing it was perfect.

Positive: The location is excellent. A tourist area but yet quiet and private near the Ledru-Rollin and Bastille metro stations and a Monoprix grocery store. The apartment is very "Paris" like, charming, clean, spacious and comfortable. There is a bathroom with a washing machine upstairs and half a bathroom downstairs. The kitchen was well equipped although we never did any cooking while we were there. David met us on arrival and was very welcoming, sweet and easy to talk to!

Negative: Not that I didn't like it but the apartment is located on the 3rd floor with narrow steep stairways and no lift. It didn't bother us but may be an issue for others. This is a typical Paris apartment in an old building so it has no air conditioning but there were fans to help with the air circulation.

Positive: Great location, around shops and restaurants, nice apartment in a silent yard of an old house on 3rd level - yes you need to walk up in hold houses and they have no aircondition, it’s not a modern hotel but an original Paris apartment ;) Very clean, well equipped. Very friendly team.

Positive: We loved staying at this property!! It was extremely clean and very comfortable, we loved getting back from a day of walking and metro to the nice shower and comfy couch! The host was very helpful and responding very quickly with any questions. The location is near so many nice stores, bakeries, places to go out, and restaurants. The metro is also right across the street! would 100% stay here again!!

Positive: This is a great duplex style flat in the heart of Paris. It has a very well equipped kitchen and linked sitting room. There is a high counter table suitable for breakfast as well as a more traditional table for other meals. Its a very comfortable flat to live in for a week, which is what we did. It also has a toilet at this level. Upstairs are two rooms and a bathroom which also has a toilet attached. The shower is very good. It is ideally situated with the Metro line 8 directly outside. This links to Bastille, which is only a ten minute walk away to Metro lines 1 and 5. This means you can get to anywhere in Paris quickly. The area itself is vibrant a with lots of bars and restaurants within minutes of the flat. The walk to the Gare de Lyon (20 mins) passes through a stylish vibrant area.

Negative: The flat is on floor three and is accessed by a steep stairway with no lift. This would be a problem for those with a physical disability or very big/bulky luggage. We were fine with this, but should be considered by others. The bedrooms are at the very top of the three story building so the heat rises! We had a very hot part to our stay and it made sleeping interesting. The owner has put powerful fans all around the flat to reduce the heat.

Summary: An excellent two bedroom flat in the heart of Paris.

Negative: The stairs, it’s on the third floor with no lift. But since we only came back to the apartment in the evening it was not much of an issue but will be if we comeback with our parents.

Negative: no lift is always a small trouble - but everything else was great
