Positive: Perfectly located. Many amenities in the house, the heating was already on when we were there. Spacious, the four bedrooms were a massive plus as we all had our own space. We appreciated there were many entertainment options, streaming services etc and all the villages points of interest were a short hop away. We liked the decor as well and the dining table made for a good spot for games.

Positive: So, I had a slight issue with the boiler upon arrival, however I email Calum (the owner) and asked him to call me to resolve. He did this promptly and we resolved the issue on the phone.

Negative: nothing to complain about and Calum was really helpful with the boiler issue . He went over and above on this minor problem.

Positive: Superb location within Helmsdale, everything was in walking distance (it was a small village anyway), we were able to park right outside which was ideal. The house was bigger than I was expecting and had everything we needed including a whole bunch of kitchen supplies such as dishwasher tablets which was a lovely bonus. Lots of towels provided too which I personally liked and the shower was hot and very powerful, perfect as I have tonnes of long hair!! The host, Calum, was very helpful and responded straight away when I texted with a question about the wifi password (which was my fault, I hadn't looked properly).

Negative: Nothing really.

Summary: If we're in the area again, we would definitely stay in this property, we couldn't fault it at all.
