Positive: Trung is the most helpful and attentive hotel concierge we’ve ever had. Helped us with tours and food recommendations and rented us a motor scooter very conveniently and at a very fair rate. The room was great and perfectly clean with a beautiful view of the bay (as pictured on this site). Complimentary breakfast was 10/10. Great location that is peaceful and quiet and just up the hill from the busy area (about 15 minutes hilly walk or a couple minutes scooter ride). Of note, it shows up as “Dung Lai Hotel 173” on Google maps

Negative: We loved everything about it.

Positive: We loved that this place was away from the main town. It's quiet near the boat pier with only very simple places to eat, but easy to get to town in a scooter if you want to. The host rented us a scooter for very little money, arranged our laundry and onwards travel. They were sooo nice and the room was large and very comfortable. This is a true local business, not fronted by foreign investment so please support them.

Negative: Breakfast is just OK. Keep your expectations in check.

Positive: Fantastic location, I think this is one of the hotel with the best view on the bay. The staff is super friendly, you will feel yourself at home. Trung (the hotel manager) made us everything possible to make us feel welcome and has been always there to help arranging transfers and tours.

Negative: The room was very comfortable, nothing to complain. There is no shower box, but this is quite common in Vietnam. Maybe one more table light could have helped to read without keeping all the lights on.

Summary: Wonderful! Probably the hotel with the best view on the bay and amazing staff.

Positive: When our bus arrived in front of the house, the receptionist was already outside waiting for us. From that very first moment until our departure, we were treated with exceptional attention, care, and genuine warmth. Chung, the receptionist, could easily be a manager at any five-star hotel chain, he elevates hospitality to an outstanding level at this lovely waterfront property. The room looks exactly like in the photos. Everything is beautifully clean and in the same condition as shown in the pictures (which is not always a given in Vietnam). Breakfast is freshly prepared and made to order, based on the guests’ choices from a menu. We would return anytime without hesitation.

Negative: Nothing, everything was perfect.

Summary: The level of hospitality at this place is truly next level.

Positive: Excellent staff that would go the extra mile to help. There were a few western breakfast options and cooked fresh. We had a room.with a ocean view that was beautiful. The hotel is a 15-25 minute walk out of town, which we liked to get away from the noise but should be considered.
