Only 200 steps down your private boardwalk, the warm sands of Bald Head Island's South Beach await when you stay at Dune Eden, an Executive Oceanfront retreat providing five bedrooms/5.5 baths and spectacular seascapes inside and out. The main house and crofter are cloistered around an entrance courtyard. The main home's first level houses the garages and egress to the beach access. Up the stairs, the next level proffers a deep, covered TREX wraparound porch, bayed on the seaside and furnished with a dining set as well as seating for conversation or serene contemplation of the unobstructed Atlantic views. From here, you can take the spiral staircase to the upper sundeck or enter inside. Within, this floor reveals crafted, custom details around every corner-from the elegant Cypress wainscoting to the plank flooring and original art. The three bedrooms on this level start with a roomy twin which utilizes the convenient hall full bath. The first spacious King suite renders gorgeous water tableaus, direct porch access and includes a cozy private sitting area as well as a spa-like bath with a sunken jetted tub, separate tile shower, water closet and his/her vanities. The second King suite also delights with its own en suite. A centrally-located family room completes this floor and tenders a wet bar, loads of built-ins, a decorative fireplace and porch access.

The upper oceanfront King Owner's suite on this level affords a refuge with its private sitting area, porch access and luxurious spa-like ensuite. The location cannot be beat and the house was not only stunning but also very well appointed. When we were not at the beach, there was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy quiet reading, puzzle solving, card games, and family meals inside or out. The boardwalk to the beach looked new and made for an easy pathway to the water. The house was immaculate and the two minor issues we had were resolved promptly by Wendy Wilmot Properties. It was an amazing week at Dune Eden!

Ideally located with fabulous views and access to the ocean and beach, the house provided an ideal setting for relaxing, entertaining, and camaraderie. We were pleased with the atmosphere, decor, and bedroom arrangements that afforded us both privacy for various family couples and wonderful gathering spaces to be together. We will come again!

The house is beautiful and had all the amenities we needed. We could easily walk out on the beach which was never crowded. The rooms were large and there was plenty of space for the 9 of us (plus a toddler!) to spread out and have our own space. We even had a private yoga lesson on the lower porch as we looked out at the ocean. The kitchen is large with lots of eating space and plenty of plates, pots/pans, etc. to feed a group. There was another whole living space downstairs if there are teenagers or those who may need a little privacy. We all sat together in the main living room and there was plenty of room. The WWP team was exceptional. Before we arrived, they confirmed everything and checked in to make sure that all was in order. I would definitely rent this house again and most definitely use WWP for any rentals. This is a highly professional and accommodating agency.
