Summary: Really excellent hotel - everything about it was superb: Rooms, staff and food and all at a really good price. One of the nicest hotels we've ever stayed in, would thoroughly recommend it!!!

Summary: On arrival (8 hours drive) the receptionist greeted us with absolute disregard for people with disabilities or knowledge of legal rights of service dogs. I had included this into my booking and had confirmation that the hotel would support us. His words made my daughter withdraw as if she’d done something wrong. Not okay!!! Your team need D&I training.

Summary: The fittings in the room were tired and worn. The tea/coffee tray was kept in a cupboard but was warm. Needs to be on the side. Bed comfy room very clean

Summary: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Dinner was very good as was cooked breakfast. Only comment I would make was limited choice on first course of breakfast.

Summary: Had a lovely one night stay here prior to visiting Dumfries House. Staff were lovely and food excellent. Only problem we had was the bathroom. The shower was over the bath which was very slippy and there was no mat and no grab rails to hold on to. As we are both getting older and have physical problems we felt very unsafe.
