Positive: Apartment was great. Spacious and with all as advertised. Location at paddington means just a short bus ride to downtown or a long walk. Area itself was quite interesting. Entrance to the apartment building was however not very pleasant

Negative: Next to a construction site. We were not informed of this and the morning noise was really unbearable

Positive: Location is amazing. Great to walk to The SCG. Quirky and cool apartment.

Negative: Came onto booking.com to NOT be anything like Airbnb. Three extra charges after booking.com price was quoted and paid. One for a service charge ($31) and then another for linen ($35) to make up sofa bed, then didn't leave anything out to make up bed or enough towels, (even though booking was four and extra also paid) dropped off second day. Then a $500 bond charged, when they had credit card details. Plus had to send ALL guest ID photos and then photos of us holding IDs! Just trying to avoid Airbnb experience. Plus a smoke alarm battery alert bleeped all night in area. Didn't sleep second night.
