Summary: This is our favorite place to stay in Vicksburg. The property is beautiful, the staff is great. Very nice breakfast and the rates are more than fair for such nice accommodations. I strongly recommend.

Summary: This is difficult to write a review on because I want to give it 5 stars but I can't just due to some minor details. Hard because it's a historic hotel so you don't expect it to be perfectly upkept but it could be at least a little better. Vents were cakes in dust and grime for example that could be cleaned (for a long time overdue). Things like poorly fit ceiling tiles in bathroom, maintenance on outside where rotting boards were being replaced on the deck, things like that are understandable but still can't give a 5 star "yet". They are working on it looks like so hopefully it will continue to improve. Aside from that it was a good stay no major issues.

Summary: The owner was very accommodating, super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was really good. And the mansion was so interesting. They even give a tour after breakfast. Would recommend staying here. You won’t be sorry the rooms were clean. Everything was just perfect.
