Positive: This historic home is absolutely stunning. But it’s once you’re inside that you’re in for a treat. Every bit of wall, and even the ceilings are covered in art. It’s kitschy. It’s eccentric. It’s eclectic. It’s awesome in its scope. And clean as can be. Not a speck of dust. Quite impressive. We had hardy, delicious Cajun breakfasts each morning in the formal yet comfortable dining room. No need for another meal until late afternoon or early evening. Lots to see and do in this area of Cajun country. We were a quick drive away from all of our day excursions. Upon return, this house felt very welcoming and we slept quite soundly in our beds.

Negative: I wish there was a working refrigerator in our room. Otherwise, I have no complaints.

Positive: The breakfast were sensational, very culture oriented. The location was perfect. You could walk downtown you could walk your dog felt safe. Everyone was very polite and nice. We will be back.

Negative: Two small issues. When was the coffee maker in the room didn’t work well nor did the refrigerator. It froze our things, but she said she would have both fixed so I trust that she will do that.

Summary: It was a very quaint lovely place.
