Positive: The staff who met us at the entrance were very friendly and hospitable. The 2-bedroom villa we rented was very clean and spacious. The rooftop terrace was perfect for meals and hangouts. The international host, Nabila, was very attentive, kind, and fun. She is very knowledgeable about the area and the available activities. The proximity to the ocean was fantastic! And in case of bad beach conditions, the hotel pool was ready and waiting, along with a cool drink! (The olives and peanuts were an appreciated bonus!) The tagines from the shop near the entrance were a fine local meal alternative to the hotel restaurant and could be enjoyed at ‘home’. Our villa had some basic things like salt, pepper, soap, dish towels, dishwashing items… very clean and comfortable bedding. The shower was probably the best of my life! Water pressure, softness, temperature, all perfect!!

Negative: We loved it, so the following comments are just suggestions… We booked with Dreamcatcher Homes, so the fact that it was part of Evasion Club residences and the hotel was called Ocean Dunes Hotel was a little confusing (not explained at booking). On arrival we paid extra for a bracelet to give us entry to the Evasion Club pool, and discovered later we didn’t really need to as the hotel pool was more than sufficient and far less busy. This was not clear. I would suggest villas be supplied with items that might be appreciated by foreigners such as a cheese grater, corkscrew, and basic kitchen needs like cooking oil, condiments, spices, so that it’s not necessary to buy everything for a few days stay. The TV was tricky to get working. Not many channel options. Maybe an HDMI cable would help give travelers more viewing options with their steaming devices since the Wi-Fi/internet connection was very good. Summer isn’t great for the beach in this area, too foggy. But this means fewer guests and it usually clears in the morning or afternoon (so a good point!)

Summary: A wonderful escape! We extended our stay an extra night.

Positive: Because we were outside of the season everything was relaxed and good. The advise and the patience of our hosts was wonderful and the spots they recommended were great! I felt at some point even embarrassed to keep asking questions, but they always responded in such a nice way that I never felt we were a burden. The beach is great! When I explain to my friends how great beaches in Morocco are, I describe the beach at Dreamcatchers. Miles of sandy beaches to the north and no people on it and to the south there is a bay watch that makes you feel secure for the little one. So thank you for such a nice stay and I hope we can soon come back. ps. Mirleft is a pearl of tranquility and kindness.

Positive: The house number 150 is superb. Perfect for a couple and two or three single additional people. Superb design, light and very well kept. 151 house on the other hand has two double beds, is a little less comfy, some minor inconveniences, ants and some doors moving at night and is quite dark in general.

Negative: Mentioned above.
