We welcome you in the heart of the castles of the Loire in this spacious comfortable villa with a large heated pool of 12x8m, a landscaped garden and a large terrace overlooking, all without vis-à-vis.
You will have, on 2 levels of 4 beautiful bedrooms, 3 with magnificent views of the pool and the city.
They are all equipped with a double bed (including one in 160 in the room of the ground floor). Two of them have a sofa
convertible two places.
Finally there is a 5th bedroom in the basement without window, with its own bathroom, and a bed 2 places.
The house is equipped with a bathroom on the ground floor, 2 bathrooms upstairs, one with walk-in shower.
The kitchen of 40m ², particularly convivial, is entirely equipped and opened on the garden.
The spacious living room also gives directly onto the garden and the pool, and enjoys a breathtaking view.
On the floor, you will benefit from a mezzanine equipped with a living room TV and a foosball.
In the basement, you will have access to the sauna, as well as all the conveniences of a scullery (washing machine, dryer and refrigerator
extra, iron and ironing board).

Summary: The property has many nice features. The kitchen, outdoor dining, and pool were great. The location is off the beaten path, yet fairly convenient to the area attractions. The hosts were very nice with good communication and recommendations. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would encourage the right family to give it a look. Yet, there are issues. The bedroom and bath/toilet configurations were a bit of a surprise coming from US practices. One toilet room did not have a sink. One bedroom and bath listed was in the basement which had a damp, musty smell that we deemed to render them unusable. As such, one couple opted to stay at a hotel in Tours. The air conditioners in two bedrooms were of the temporary design and could not be used while sleeping due to their noise. In general, the entire house could use a good cleaning and update. The house would work well for a family with children if you fit the space.

Summary: This property was beautiful and stylish with excellent kitchen facilities. The open plan layout and doors to the deck, garden and pool made it a fantastic space for our extended family to play and socialise. Good road links to explore the wider Loire valley.

Summary: Even though the weather wasn’t what we hoped and we all got sick during our trip, we still had a very comfortable stay! There were plenty of bed- and bathrooms, the pool was heated which made the colder weather less of a problem, there was a great outdoor space, and fenced yard for the dog! Tours was an awesome town to visit and we had plenty of great outings. Communication with Karen and Jerome was very easy and they were extremely friendly and accomodating!

Summary: This house is where the owners live most of the year and the fact much of their stuff is still there, makes it that you feel welcome and at home right away. Our family stayed with my brother-in-law and family (total of 4 parents, 5 kids in age range 20-24 and their respective partners). In total we were with 12. We really enjoyed the large living space, yard and swimming pool. As we were there in the summer with warm weather, we stayed most of the time around the pool area with the nice view overlooking the town of Tours. Our dog could roam around the closed yard, which was very nice. The well equipped large kitchen area was a good space to prepare our family dinner or bake a cake. Upstairs bedrooms are very nice and recently decorated. With our large group we also needed the bedroom in the basement, which was nice and cool during the night, but a bit mode dated and without a toilet. The family also allows you to use their bikes. There are two separate electric gates and plenty of parking space for your car(s), so you do not need to worry about transportation options. Thank you Karen and Jerome to stay in your house!

Summary: This is a wonderful property. It has a beautiful garden, deck and pool with a fantastic view over the river valley and into Tours. Bedrooms all very comfortable, our kids loved their rooms. Table tennis table and Foosball table got lots of use. Kitchen fully equipped and lounge area very relaxing with views to the garden and to the town. The house is just outside the city but it never took us more than 10 minutes to reach the city center and Tours itself is a gem of a city with lots of cafes restaurants and things to do and see for both adults and kids. Supermarkets are also 5 minutes (Lidl) and 10 minutes (Auchon very large store). Great base for visiting the chateaus in the region. Don't miss Beauval Zoo (about 40 min from the house). Hosts were very welcoming, very kind touches on arrival with snacks in the fridge and a bundle of brochures for local adventures, activities and things to do and see. They had great tips for places to eat in Tours and took gave us loads at time on arrival to make sure we knew where everything was and how to work everything. Great property, great owners.
