Summary: My treehouse room haven was exactly as I remember and I LOVE the large open windows to the property to listen to the wind, dozens of tropical birds, howler monkeys and the powerful thunderstorms of the Mayan Mountains. The bed and bedding are cozy and if you’re picky with your coffee… bring your own pour over for the room!!! The staff is exceptional and always available to meet any need. A meal delivered to your room even if you’re picky, they smile and are so kind and polite!!! A personal touch of showing you the monkeys location in the morning down at the far scope on the dining room deck overlooking the river. Or offering to arrange a tour or a canoe on the river. Never missing a beat and always accommodating. Good regular brew is at the ready at the dining hall too… you have to get dressed though haha The property is breath taking and very walkable with birds as mentioned, lots of reptiles, small animals and if you’re lucky maybe a Keel Billed Toucan!!! The pools are both lovely and have a different feel so I recommend trying both. Meals are exceptional… from the grilled steak, garlic mash & garden salad, afternoon wings and Caesar by the pool or evening curry with home made cheesecake all made with care and served with love! Yep… love Dream Valley!!!

Summary: Wifi was spotty. Husband was having a tough time working. Movies kept pausing and buffering, so that made it difficult to see anything all the way through! Food was excellent! Staff was friendly and accommodating to the best of their ability. My last stay was 10 years ago, Aug 2016! We noticed lots of upgrades to the property. We'll be back, and will choose our 1st room #3 next time!!

Summary: We had an incredible stay here. The pools were beautiful and well kept. Food was good, of course pricier than local options but still fairly priced and fresh. The landscaping and grounds and boardwalk were a dream though. Amazing work they have done here. It has to be decades of tending and pruning. The property manager was able to help us with our tour plans as well. We found cave tubing and ziplining through her connection to be cheaper than booking online.

Summary: Cute place tucked back a LONG bumpy rd! Good place to spend a night and wander around a bit… Rooms aren’t fancy but clean and comfortable and friendly staff!

Summary: It’s a great property, and the staff were incredibly welcoming. The layout is expansive and peaceful, with multiple pools and a serene jungle atmosphere. That said, you’ll definitely want to rent a car if you plan to explore, grab food, or go on excursions—transportation to and from the resort ran nearly $200 each way for us. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to secure a rental. Overall, if you’re looking for something affordable with an authentic jungle getaway vibe, this is a solid option.

Summary: We absolutely loved the grounds. Saw a ton of birds including parrots, a kingfisher, warblers, hummingbirds and toucans to name a couple highlights. The big issue we had was the room was attached to another and it had no sound proofing at all. So we could hear conversations, we could hear and feel every movement by our neighbor. The room was nice other than that though. Beds were comfortable. Water pressure was strong. Room was spacious and clean. We would return if we could stay in a single family cabin but doubt we would return otherwise, unfortunately.

Summary: Everything was great. My only complaint is that they played music and other tv noise at the restaurant. The nature sounds is what I came for, not bar music!! Please make the restaurant a no music zone and let us listen to the birds, geckos, and howler monkeys!! They are amazing!!
