3 Bedroom Ski Chalet in Johnsonburg, Blairstown

Beautiful cottage that sits on a 200 acre private gated estate in front of a lake. There is a full Tennis court, lots of hiking & several horses on the property.
The property has lots of natural hiking trails, several Pedal Boats & Kayaks, Fire Pit and much more. Indulge yourself in a serene getaway only 1 hour and 15 min from New York. You can sun bathe, bbq, make marshmallows at the fire pit, take a dip in the water or simply pedal & kayak through the water and enjoy the nature.
The property consist of about 200 private acres. This is not a community so you will have complete privacy. You will be staying in the DREAM chalet so please follow the signage on the property. The property has a front gate and you will need a personalized code to enter. You will receive this code upon arrival.
You get access to the Kayaks, Pedal Boats, Fire Pit, Fire Place and much more.
There is also a newly refinished tennis court so please bring your tennis rackets and balls to play.

Summary: We had an amazing 5 days at Dream Chalet. The entire property is beautiful and so private and secluded. The home was absolutely perfect. From the amazing lake view to the updated, modern decor and amenities, to the hiking trails, we had a perfect vacation. Hope to be back again some day!

Summary: We just got back from a lovely weekend at the Dream Chalet. The location was idyllic being located in the woods right in front of a pretty little lake. We even enjoyed the drive in with the leaves already changing colors. The house was clean and well decorated. The beds were comfy and the bedding was soft and warm. The wood stove was enjoyable and the hosts left us plenty of wood. We enjoyed cooking on the charcoal grill. The appliances were new and worked well. We played games and relaxed on the open concept main floor. We also really enjoyed walking around in the woods, visiting the horses, swinging on the swing overlooking the lake, and having a fire outside in the firepit by the lake. We really felt like we got away. Overall, this was one of the nicest and most relaxing rentals that we have ever been to!

Summary: The 2nd floor living room and dining areas are surrounded with siding glass doors & a great view. Spacious, well appointed and comfortable, we enjoyed the modern feel of the place. Note that the listing shows one of the bedrooms as having 2 queen beds when both smaller bedrooms have ONE queen in each and not two. Both bathrooms are on the ground floor and its12 steps up to the kitchen/dining area. Russ was quick to respond whenever we needed him.

Summary: 3 adults stayed here for about a week and we had a lovely and relaxing time. The house is lovely and surrounded by nature, close to running trails, farms and cute towns. Brand new washer & dryer + other whitewares were an excellent addition. Would like to come back.
