Positive: The staff at the hotel were just delightful. There was a vibe to the place I quite liked and it is in a very peaceful setting with so much within walking distance to include Taichung Park. Stores and places to eat were even closer.
Summary: I am returning to Taichung May 2nd and am booking at the Dream 12 again.

Positive: * Friendly service * AC in the room * Comfortable bed -- I slept very well * Desk, fridge and kettle in the room
Negative: My booking confirmation also mentioned balcony and views which there were not. (In fact, my room had an unaccesible balcony behind the couch.)
Summary: I would stay another time if in the area

Positive: I loved the location and the city views and the mountains on the distance. The personnel here are exceptional. I have had many questions and they all have been patient and kind in helping me. You are in proximity to so much here. I may be a bit old to be commenting on vibe but this place has a very real one.
Summary: A great place, incredible staff, and certainly much value for the cost.
