Large c1890 home restored with all modern amenities for your stay and comfort. Walk to METRO (2 blocks), restaurants, shopping, museums. Open floorplan with kitchen and living room. Kitchen seats 10- 12. Stocked to serve a your favorite family or friends. The 11 foot ceilings, exposed brick walls, and 9 foot windows are part of the original grandeur. Central Air condition, wifi throughout, stereo, and cable television. . The very best part? The furnished roofdeck offers great city views, and comfortable lounge seating.
Your bed linens, towels, toiletries, hair dryers, cell phone chargers, full size laundry are also supplied. Master bedroom has en suite bath with jacuzzi and walk in shower. This bedroom also has a private terrace- separate from the roofdeck. Free parking for one car on site. Additional visitor parking available. Please note, narrow alleys make parking over sized vehicles challenging. Discuss in advance.
You have 24 hour access the property. We have keyless entry for all guests. Exterior Security System on site. No additional fee for early check-in or late check out when available. (not always likely - depending on scheduling of departing guests). Luggage service in advance of check-in or checkout on property. METRO, bike share, bus lines all within 2 blocks. World class restaurants and shopping all within walking distance from front door.

Summary: Our extended family of seven adults and four little ones stayed at this property for five days of Thanksgiving week. Great location, walk to restaurants, metro, and shopping; clean, well organized kitchen. With six devices trying to use WiFi was a challenge but Karen took care of that and several other minor issues. We'd stay here again.

Summary: Great location in a safe neighborhood. Provided a great base for our family. Easy to walk to National Mall and metro stops. Nice restaurants in walking distance. The roof top deck looked so inviting but we didn't get to enjoy it due to the heatwave during our visit! Owners have thought of everything. Easy to walk in and feel at home. Super clean! Updated, fully furnished kitchen. Travelled with 4 of our kids ages 16-25, and there was plenty of room for everyone!

Summary: Nice neighborhood - people walk and bike. there are lots of trees that give privacy at the front. We lucked out with great weather to enjoy the rooftop patio and the balcony.

Summary: Lovely large house, very close to 24-hour Safeway and restaurants. Close to Metro station as well. It was perfect for our family vacation of four adults and one child. Owners were very responsive to text/messages. We appreciated the hospitality.
