Two bedroom house nestled into a 30 acre ranchette in Northern New Mexico. Surrounded by other large ranches and nature preserves. Secluded, expansive, serene. Full of New Mexican architectural charm, and decorated with carefully selected vintage finds and modern comforts. The house boasts beautiful views in every direction. Galisteo is a scenic 25 minute drive from Santa Fe.
This open floor plan home has a large living area with full kitchen, 6 seat dining table, large comfy sofa, fireplace and tv. It gets lovely southwest light. One large bedroom with a king size bed and one smaller bedroom with a daybed with trundle and privacy curtains. There are many outdoor spaces to enjoy, including a private courtyard with dining set and umbrella and walking trails that lead right out the french doors from the living room. Guests are welcome to explore the property and use other outdoor spaces, such as the labryinth and gazebo. There is also excellent road biking and trail biking right out the door, as well as a short drive away.
The wifi is reliable, but we are in a remote area, so don't expect to have a cell signal. Once you are connected to our internet, you can turn on wifi calling and use your phone with no problems.

Summary: We absolutely enjoyed our time in Emily’s guest house. It’s remote but within a 30 min drive to Santa Fe. There were awesome thunder storms and epic sunsets everyday. The space is beautiful and was very comfortable for our family. If we return to the area we would love to stay here again!

Summary: Hard to find, but the catalyst, I’m afraid, was my daughter’s interpretation of simply Googling the address tracing the route, as she saw it. We turned into the wrong place, about a quarter-mile further down Camino los Abuelos than we should’ve taken it…I was at a loss and it hadn’t occurred to me we were on the wrong road. But glad she was able to get ahold of Emily/Sloane. It was sorted out and incredibly clear after that. My apologies. Thank you for your patience.

Summary: Nice place to get away from the rat race but close enough to Santa Fe to be convenient. Also close to the pueblos and we really enjoyed exploring.
