Positive: Lovely quiet B&B run by two wonderful people, John and Myfanwy. The Apple Tree chalet was perfect for what we needed and they cooked a lovely English breakfast...they even got my daughter a birthday card and cake. The location is only 10 minutes away from Alton Towers, which is great...as long as you don't mind driving down lanes and there's plenty of local shops nearby if you need something specific.

Positive: Wonderful little place with amazing hosts who couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast was really lovely and very plentiful. Very close to Alton Towers which is where we were headed. Definitely recommend.

Negative: On booking.com the format made me think it was a 2 bedroom property, which it isn't, it's one bedroom. This is absolutely no fault of the hosts and the property ended up being fine for us as my daughter and I slept on the sofa bed in the lounge. It wasn't hugely comfortable and quite squeaky, so best for one person rather than two on the sofa bed I would say. But to reiterate, this is a Booking.com issue and a "me" issue.

Summary: Clean, comfortable, incredible hosts, beautiful area. Would stay again in a flash.
