Negative: I booked this hotel. because it has a spa. I needed a few days away to rest and recover. I booked a massage for our last but one day as it’s something I needed. I booked with reception for 11am the next day. About 10am they rang the room to tell me I couldn’t get a massage until the end of the week. I was going home the next day. Gutted.

Positive: The bed was comfortable. The location was good for our plans. The staff tried hard to converse with us in English which we were grateful for.

Negative: The hotel was rather dated. It kind of felt a bit like a prison. Definitely could do with some updating. There was no kettle of tea/coffee making facilities in the room but there was a noisy mini fridge. The hotel itself was lacking in atmosphere and views. It's location is in such a beautiful place but unless you pay more than we did, you can't see anything nice from the windows. There are very few windows in the restaurant either. We didn't get to try the spa facilities although they did look nice despite being in the dark basement. We were told that we would have to purchase a swim hat and slippers to use the spa, which put us off. On the whole it could be a nice hotel with a few tweaks here and there.

Summary: Ok for a stopover on the way to somewhere else.
