Positive: breakfast was very good, excellent selection. Pool was lovely and warm and very quiet. Hotel was great generally, staff pleasant, room was comfortable.

Negative: My only gripe was the hotel was opposite sex shops, and a few homeless folk would walk into the bar asking for change. This when I was on my own wasnt the best situation.

Positive: The room was very comfy and perfect for my intentions: getting some work done! There was also a small pool area with sunbeds, which I had to myself when I went for a swim before breakfast. Breakfast was really good, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I stayed on in the bar / restaurant downstairs after checkout to carry on working.

Negative: When I first arrived I was bit unsure as the hotel is opposite a strip club, but actually Northbridge has some great independent shops and restaurants (although might be a little hairy if I'd been going around by myself late at night).

Summary: A comfortable stay in the heart of Northbridge.

Positive: Room was lovely, with an odd arrangement of shower with a screen that could raise or lower. When raised the view from the bed was direct to the toilet. I guess it was a space saver, but felt a little seedy. Might have been better to put a bath or have the screen raise from the bottom so it would provide privacy and access to the natural light from the window.

Negative: Breakfast finished at 10 on the weekend
