Positive: The location was perfect and easy parking. Once I got the room I had booked and paid for, it was a good size. The manager was helpful and friendly in resolving the problem.
Negative: On arrival, checked in, went to room and given wrong room. Went back to reception and I was told that I'd been bumped as they were full and I wasn't a Hilton Honours member. I'd booked it 11 months ago and they took my money a day before I arrived and didn't tell me when I'd checked in. I am a Hilton Honours member, but that should not have impacted my booking. I was very assertive but polite, and eventually, they gave me the correct room, which I appreciated. The hotel is tired, the shower area rather grubby as was the sofa. The aircon is very noisy and the hallways didn't look very clean.

Negative: No shower gel in the shower and coffee was out in lobby when we wanted some before we left at 6:30

Positive: We generally liked staying at the DoubleTree in Neenah and loved the cookies. Highlights were the friendly and fun chats we had with the receptionist at the front desk, Beth. She was genuinely friendly and interested in us. The location was perfect too.
