Summary: The room was unfortunately not up to the standard I expected from a DoubleTree. The portable air-conditioning unit was very loud, and the room had a strong mildew odor that made it feel damp and unpleasant. The carpet was visibly dirty and did not appear to have been properly vacuumed. The bathroom was the biggest concern. There were visible dark spots and what appeared to be mold in and around the shower, including along the lower areas where water collects. Overall, the room did not feel properly cleaned or maintained. The staff interactions I had were fine, but the condition and cleanliness of the room made the stay uncomfortable. I would not stay at this location again without significant improvements to the rooms, ventilation, and housekeeping.

Summary: There was a long wait for check-in, as no one was stationed at the front desk. Their server didn’t show up for breakfast. Some of the hotel was a little dated and the updated portions were not done professionally. I pay a little extra to stay at Hilton with the expectation it will be a little nicer and a better experience than the average. Also, personal pet peeve but no exhaust fans in the bathroom which is nice to have when staying with a family. Not a terrible stay but just disappointed.

Summary: We had dinner in the hotel and it was good. Not too loud so you could talk in our group of 12. I did not use the pool or hot tub due to lack of time but the kids in the pool loved it. Parking was plentiful on Friday but Saturday night, the lot and hotel was pretty full but we found a spot!

Summary: This was the nicest hotel we have stayed in for a long time! Only one downer observation, the breakfast buffet was not very good. But it was our choice to eat there as we on a time constraint.

Summary: Check in was quick and easy, the front desk lady was friendly and informative, and the entire facility was quite nice. The room was spacious and clean, the bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed my stay. I did not utilize the pool or eat breakfast, so I cannot comment on those amenities. I will be staying here again if in the area. There are plenty of dining options nearby and it's a fairly quick drive into downtown Milwaukee or to a Brewers game.
