Positive: The staff is amazing and provided wonderful service. They are helpful, creative, and very nice. Nothing we asked was too difficult or big. Excellent service! The facilities were perfect for our family, and the location was convenient for all of our day trips, enabling us to stay in one place instead of moving around a lot. Highly recommend!

Positive: The hotel is very pleasant, spacious rooms and good facilities. We spent our honeymoon there and we have received complementary champagne and even a heart-shaped cake!

Negative: We had some problems with our room for a couple days, after making it clear we cannot stay there any longer the staff was very kind offering us an upgrade in another room and complementary rates, so at the end we were happy with the solution! We got bored of the breakfast after a while, could introduce some variety week by week.

Summary: Great location for exploring the island if you have a car. Beautiful hotel and pleasant stay.

Positive: I had a wonderful stay at Doubletree by Hilton Lagoa Azores. The room was excellent and the breakfast was absolutely delicious. It was also a nice touch to receive small details like cookies at check-in and fresh pineapple in the room. The spa was really enjoyable and relaxing. The rooftop has a great view, and the pool area is perfect for enjoying it. Most of all, the staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Highly recommend this hotel!

Positive: The whole experience was sensational. Bobbing about in the rooftop pool is glorious! What made the stay really special for me was the dedication and artistry with which the Chef specially prepared three-course vegan meals for me every single night. Mind-blowingly delicious food! Thank you so much! All of the staff were lovely and friendly and gorgeous. One of our favourite holidays ever!
