Summary: The room was lovely, big in size and nice bathroom but a faint smell that we couldn’t work out. Breakfast was amazing. The hotel is in a great setting looking out to the water but there’s nothing at all around it so we had to taxi to South Queensferry which cost us £22 one way.

Summary: Nice hotel with pleasant staff biggest problem was the first room we were given had someone already in it second room fine but again problems with keys had to go down to reception twice which is not a problem except we both in our 60s with mobility problems so not the best

Summary: Its still decent but really showing its age. Run down, funny smells, strange you get a cookie on check in but the mini bar is empty. Glasses in the room weren't filthy but there certainly were clean enough. Tissue box only had 3 in it. Lot of tv channels didn't work. Breakfast was rubbish, not worth the money and you have to pay to park there, ridiculous. That said, for a one night stay its clean and comfortable enough that I would probably stay again. They should really invest in maintenance.

Summary: Unfortunately, I cannot give a higher rating than 3 stars as our experience was underwhelming and didn’t meet our expectations of staying at a Hilton hotel. What earned the three stars I give- dog friendly (albeit 30£ charge), big beds, has parking (7£), near Edinburgh center (30min drive). What lacked in my opinion: - usually they provide some bowls, beds etc., for a dog, at the price charged, but nothing was provided. (They did have some dog biscuits in the lobby) - the breakfast was a huge disappointment, unless you want “British breakfast” don’t bother. We were promised a variety of, but it was your standard scrambled eggs (that had 0 taste) , beans, inedible bacon, tattie scones, mushrooms. Two types of bread (toast), porridge, and some poor looking cheeses and deli meats. Other Hilton (and 4 ⭐️ hotels) I’ve stayed at have had much more to offer and much tastier too. The coffee was simultaneously weak (I chose the richest setting) and had a very diner coffee flavor. Our room was out of both shampoo and shower gel, had no vanity sets etc., and in the bathroom there was only one set of towels?! The other was in the closet. If the bed hadn’t been made I would’ve thought the room hadn’t been cleaned. Upon entry the air was very stale and we had to air the room out. Overall for ~170£ per night + 67£ (30£ breakfast per two, 30£ dog, 7£ parking) there has to be a better alternative in the neighborhood. This hotel simply doesn’t deserve 4 stars ⭐️ it’s a 3 ⭐️ hotel.

Summary: The setting was great between the old and new Forth road bridges, with the restaurant looking at the new one. Nice big rooms with super king bed and a big bathroom with rain shower. A bus from the airport stops at the end of the old bridge right next to a footpath to the hotel.
