Summary: Well, I have to say we enjoy staying here because it's within walking distance of restaurants we like and it is a nice hotel. We've stayed here several times, but this time we get "incidental" charge on my card for parking. It's a Sunday night with nothing special going on and we weren't told of the charge. I had to call. Like I said, we've stayed here several times before on the weekend and haven't been charged for parking. Seems like that would be included. It's not like DoubleTree by Hilton is an economy hotel. Very disappointing.

Summary: The hotel rooms need to be updated with Kuerig Coffee maker. I was charged almost $5 for drinking the water when it clearly stated it was free. Good stay overall.

Summary: I have stayed in this hotel back when it was just the Riverview and it felt like stepping into a late '80s time jump lol. After a while of indecisive curiosity, I decided to go ahead and book a room at the newly renovated DoubleTree by Hilton. I was very impressed and could not tell what it used to be. The only thing that I would say that can easily be remedied, is that the "Riverview" side of the hotel, which charges an extra $10 should be redressed. There is no view of the Cumberland river, the trees have blocked it out and at night it's pitch dark on that side of the hotel.
