Positive: This is the perfect place for a family stay. We stayed for three days after having hiked in the high mountains and it was a treat. There is a small pool that the kids will love (and the parents too, when its hot), ping pong, pool and a playground. The place is family run and all the staff is so nice and forthcoming for every kind of request. We got brilliant advice about which places to visit and really nice food as well. I really recommend!

Positive: Really enjoyed our stay at Dorul. The location was amazing. The hosts were so welcoming. Just a fantastic experience overall. The breakfast and dinner were really nice. They have a lovely farm and our children had so much fun with their son and exploring the place. Would recommend and return again.

Positive: We found this to be the perfect family stay. The property offers wonderful facilities, including a swimming pool and a charming farm. The owner and his family are genuinely warm and welcoming and it truly feels like they enjoy hosting and sharing their culture and food. Our kids had an amazing time playing around the farm, swimming, petting the farm animals, going on a boat ride around the lake, and playing with all the toys both indoors and outdoors. Meanwhile, we appreciated the chance to unwind after a busy trip around Romania and even managed to catch up on some work in the peaceful surroundings. The village is just 15–20 minutes off the main road of the Transfăgărășan and easily accessible by car. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and are especially grateful for the kind and thoughtful hospitality. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and engaging retreat.

Positive: Absolutely everything. It’s paradise. It can be easily found with waze, its peaceful and quiet and relaxing and oh, so beautiful! Not to mention the amazing food and hosts, the dogs and the cat, the frog concerts on the lake, its been just what we needed! The property has a swimming pool, ping pomg table, pool table, gorgeous music, karaoke mics and so much more ! There are 3 amazing dogs and one cat, all so friendly and attentive to tourists!

Negative: We liked everything.
