Positive: Stayed for a wedding as guests, was very convenient to the barn location which was fantastic. Staff in the bar and breakfast area, were great and it's clear these areas have been recently renovated to a high standard.

Negative: Front desk staff were not that friendly, you have to pay extra to use the spa. Expensive for what you get - our room was one of the older ones and incredibly hot. Window only opened ajar and the AC didn't work.

Positive: Location is great with quick access to the M4 and plenty of parking with electric charging should you need it. Room was lovely, we went for a suite as was a special occasion and this provided lots of space with everything clean and looking like it had been refurbished recently as did the rest of the hotel, restaurant and bar. Standout for the visit was the restaurant. The food was amazing and thoroughly recommend visiting for this alone.

Negative: It is not a big thing but when you spend a relatively large amount on a stay as you do here, I would expect use of the pool to be included in the price. We did not use the spa but just the pool to go swimming with my young daughter and were charged £20 when checking out. It just seems rather odd to charge those who are staying at the hotel for use of the pool, especially for a hotel at this price point.
