Positive: Location was very original on the big farm, with many animals (cows, donkeys, horses), very good location for couples or families looking for quiet but lovely place, far from crowded streets. We have never before were so close to the nature, it was very pleasant experience. There is nice swimming pool. Each room has anti-mosquito door and window cover. But there were no mosquitos or other flying insects. Restaurant (for the breakfast) is 2-3minutes away from the rooms location with the car (one can walk if like but is more conveninet to take car). Near to the rooms there is also a "social area" where you can relax, cook or just sit with family/friends if prefered to stay inside (a separate detached building - a bit "away" from the rooms so no chance to interrupt the guests). Eris the manager of the facility was very very helpfull and open to support guests without any delay. He is very positive and helpful person.

Negative: Everything was good and well taken care.

Summary: It was very original place to stay - quiet, relaxing and very close to nature!

Positive: The property is newly constructed including all luxury details and to suit the comfort during your stay. Easy access to the main reception for breakfast and food. The whole concept of the farm art accommodation is unique and well laid out for amazing tourist attraction. Well set up for kids activities. Very nice and welcoming staff and owner.

Positive: The staff and cuisine were top notch. Location was a little off the beaten road. Actual location was very nice. Planned and developed with a vision .

Negative: If we asked for towels , we would get hem. There were only two workers and so I can understand how they had to prioritize but would have been nice to have daily room service.

Summary: Good place for a rest- food was excellent, staff was courteous and amazing cooks.

Positive: Super location! Beautiful huge rural estate with just a few buildings for the guests and cows. Staff works very hard to make your stay pleasant. Breakfast and dinner are very good using local products. And the Wifi has been updated: works excellent! Special thanks to Eris for all the care!

Positive: Off the track, literally on a farm, nicely laid out. Total escape from the works outside. Maria and Angela are fantastic. Very warm and welcoming. Food was an unexpected delight. The breakfasts were outstanding and dinner at night really classy. All local ingredients and recipes. The real deal.

Negative: The WiFi is v patchy and even though it’s nice to escape the world it’s a necessary evil. Quite frustrating. Would happily have no TV but not no WiFi.

Positive: Maria and Angela and Susha were wonderful! They made us feel comfortable and welcome. Even though we arrived very late, Maria was on hand to greet us and made check in easy. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome. The food made by Angela was all fresh homemade and exceeded our expectations. She took time to tell us about each item and shared how it was made. Both she and Maria spent time talking to us and telling us about themselves and DonnaPaola. Maria is an artist and while you are there, be sure to look for her sculptures. The rooms also have her work as part of the decorations. The property is beautiful and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The views are stunning. It is peaceful and quiet. We will be sure to come back and stay longer.

Negative: The only thing I might suggest to improve is the lighting on the steps to the room. We arrived after dark and there was no light on the steps.

Summary: DonnaPaola is outstanding and a must to stay at if you are in Altamura.

Positive: • Beautiful grounds • Comfortable, clean, modern rooms (with gorgeous tile artwork) • Friendly staff • Breakfast was divine—a beautifully prepared selection of cakes, tarts, bread, charcuterie, cheese, yogurt and fresh juice. • Dinner is also available onsite and is a must. Fabulous wines, local produce prepared simply and beautifully—a real delight! • Tour the grounds to learn about the future plans for the property and learn more about this amazing region.

Negative: Not a negative but noting this property is not the most convenient base for heading out and exploring surrounding towns. Recommend booking if you want to enjoy some down, disconnect, and relax by the pool etc.
