Positive: The room was great and Barbara is a fantastic host. The location is excellent, down by the water, but only a 2-3 min walk to the train station. There is a restaurant and bar at the bottom of the step up to the accommodation. There is a coin laundromat about a 5 min walk away, up past the train station with a very nice cafe next door. The kitchen was very well stocked and restocking was not a problem. The room was quiet and the bed was comfortable. Shower was good. Highly recommend as a base to explore Cinque Terre.

Positive: Barbara’s apartment was absolutely wonderful! It was very comfortable and well supplied. She even provided eggs, fresh tomatoes, pastries, coffee, and tea for our use. She provided absolutely everything and gave very clear instructions for how to locate the apartment and the house rules.

Negative: Not a complaint, but travelers should be aware that everywhere in Vernazza has stairs. The apartment was up one flight of stairs, so if you have heavy luggage or walking problems, the stairs would be a challenge.
