Positive: Better described as a studio, rather than an apartment, the unit houses a bed and a sofa bed in the same room as the kitchenette and clothes washer and dryer. There’s no separate bedroom, and the two beds, one of which is a sofa bed, can sleep up to four people. The owner truly exceeded expectations in furnishing the studio with a larger than usual amount of snacks, three bottles of water (we had three people in our group), several coffee pods for the Keurig coffee maker (plenty for our one-night stay), toiletries, and table games. There were enough pots and pans to cook an entire meal and serve up to four people. A large screen TV offers a variety of channels, and the clothes washer and dryer will be very useful for longer stays and after trips to the beach. The studio sits in the back end of a house, and it was very quiet on a Tuesday night. The exterior corridor that connects the front gate to the unit door had several motion-activated lights, very helpful at night.

Negative: It had only two beds, instead of the advertised three, and it’s a studio, not an apartment.
