Summary: The staff is wonderful. One note…if taking Uber or a cab to the property you have to be dropped off about a block and a half from the property. Those needing assistance with luggage etc. might have a problem.

Summary: The team at Domus Zamittello are amazing and wicked attentive! The breakfast was above and beyond with a wonderful mix of speedy and leisurely food options- their fresh squeezed orange juice was our favorite throughout our stay. The room was complete with all that we needed for our stay and then some! Given it is located right in the heart of Valleta, it was easy to get to public transport (bus, ferry, and ride share for sure since that was what we used) that made our exploration so much easier. Overall, would definitely stay again! Thank you, Domus Zamittello team for making our travels so easy!

Central location meant the rooms overlooking the pedestrian road could be a bit noisy. Excellent staff gave positive assistance with itineraries and generally couldn’t have been more helpful. I enjoyed breakfast from an extensive menu being served to me for a change. We found a marvellous restaurant (Giannini) 10 minutes walk from the hotel which was quiet, great food and view - we went back 4 nights. Malta itself was a great venue but the advent of cruise ships disgorging hundreds for the day makes these places more difficult to enjoy. We experienced the same on Madeira. Summary: This small, intimate hotel is an absolute gem! The staff is kind and attentive. The interior is gorgeous. My room was spacious and very comfortable. The food in the restaurant was outstanding. The manager, Moul, stops by each table at breakfast to ask how you are doing and if you need any help with your plans for the day. He gave me great advice regarding transportation and how best to plan my days of sightseeing. Although it is on the busy Republic Street, once you are inside the doors, you are in a different world. I was not bothered by any street noise in my room. Overall, a wonderful experience. Be sure to read up on the history of the hotel before your stay. You'll be very impressed. If you're looking for old world charm and impeccable service, do not miss the opportunity to stay in this lovely hotel!

Summary: Lovely stay as a solo female traveller. Great breakfast and perfect location. Only thing missing is access to a pool. My room had an interior courtyard view, but was lovely. Bathroom is a bit cramped but has all of the necessities. No compliants. Staff was excellent.

Summary: Lovely hotel in the heart of Valletta. The staff is incredibly endearing and helpful. Lovely location, easy to find even with pedestrian-only streets. I tried to book the spa, but it was not available. Lovely breakfast included. Lovely terrace, only thing missing is a pool or hot tub!
