Positive: The location and breakfast were all excellent. The space was very comfortable and it was only a short walk to the Padre Pio museum and his childhood home. I have felt called to visit Pietrelcina for almost 7 years and it was the perfect setting for this journey. The owner and host was very friendly and responsive. Everything was immaculately clean and it was very easy to feel comfortable and at home. It is a beautiful property in a beautiful town.

Negative: The WiFi connection could have been better but my main priority in visiting was the spiritual significance of the area, so this was not of much importance to me.

Summary: A beautiful and very comfortable stay in a place of great significance for Catholics.

Positive: Close to Padre Pio places we wanted to visit.

Negative: The twin bed not comfortable and sheets didn’t fit. No blanket on twin bed- too cold. I ended up sharing the larger bed when I really wanted to sleep in a bed by myself.

Summary: The stay was just ok. Not awful, but not good either. I was not very comfortable.

Positive: This place were close to the centre of the town and his main objects.

Negative: The owner only speaks Italian, she stood around and gossiped about us to other customers, which we understood. It was rude. It was also cold as the radiators were turned off when we arrived. Breakfast was poor, only packaged long-life pastries.

Summary: It was not a cosy place to stay, I would not come back here again. But for this price - ok.

Positive: Our upstairs bedroom was spacious and comfortable - we even had a view from our balcony which was a pleasant surprise.

Negative: Our bed was a little harder than we were used to and the pillows were not what we come to expect but they were decent enough.

Summary: The small town was peaceful and convenient to get to other bigger cities.
