Positive: We were lucky enough to get the room with view over the bay! It’s really amazing. Everyone is very nice and welcoming. It can be a bit hot when closing the doors at night, but it wasn’t a problem for us.

Negative: Unfortunately there’s no such “sidewalks” there, so to access the place by walk, you have to be very careful

Positive: Large room with great view over the harbor and the beaches. Close to the centre and to the beaches. Private parking on site. Large terrace and garden with wonderful views. The kindness and availability of the nuns running the place.

Negative: No air conditioning (that was known) and ceiling fan working only at slow or at top speed in our room.

Positive: The view is amazing! There are many spots you can enjoy it from, either having a coffee in the morning or a sunset dinner. The nuns are also very sweet and helpful. Would definitely recommend, especially for solo travelers.

Positive: The location is really dramatic on a cliff with nice views of the sea. It is very easy to go down to the beach with the lift. It is a monastery , so very quiet and peaceful. Also the nuns were really kind and adorable. One nun gave me her fan when mine was not working properly. You can also easily take the bus 008 or walk for 20 minutes to the nearby town which has very good restaurants for lunch and dinner. The fan in the room was very helpful.

Negative: The breakfast could have some fresh fruit salad and some hard boiled eggs to make it a bit more wholesome. I also did not like the coffee from the machine too much. But I think its just a few elderly nuns managing everything so I can fully understand.

Positive: This is wonderful accommodation for me as a single traveller. Run by nuns who don't all speak English, an elderly nun pulled out a phone and communicated with me using an app! Spotlessly clean l hit the jackpot with a room and ensuite on the top floor with a big balcony overlooking gorgeous gardens and a small harbour. Bonus firework display one night!

Negative: Being able to use kitchen facilities is always good. There was a fridge for guests to use but nothing else. The breakfast provided was very good.

Summary: A very memorable stay highly recommended. I felt like mother superior!
