Positive: It was such a treat to stay in Druogno at Alessandra's place. Mountains, forest, wildflower meadows, well marked trails, villages to explore and a very comfortable apartment to return to. Alessandra is a truly exceptional host, charming and always keen to help. The train journey between Domodossola and Locarno is glorious - and the train proved very useful for getting back from walks between villages. Make sure you go to Bar Paradiso for the music, the host and the panini.

Negative: Nothing, we loved it.
