Positive: Beautiful country house, very tastefully furnished with 3 salons available to use, as well as library area. It is also a working farm with chickens roaming free on one side and sheep grazing on the other. Beautiful countryside location. The rooms were spotlessly clean with simple, elegant furnishing and good quality white cotton sheets. Very accommodating hosts offering a delicious breakfast with home-made jams and eggs from their chickens. Large covered pool and outside areas available. Exceeded expectation.

Summary: Elegant country farm/chateau, very comfortable stay with excellent breakfast and charming hosts.

Positive: The main building of the farm is like a castle, very high-ceiling. The surroundings are beautiful. A detour from the highways. We slept well. The breakfast was “continental plus” with locally produced quality products.

Negative: Although restaurants can be found - most but not all closed on a Sunday - we didn’t feel like going anywhere by car . We had something to eat of our own - however a water kettle/ coffee maker/micro would have been nice. As this is in the country side some kind of kitchenette in the room or in common areas would in my opinion be a plus.
