Positive: The host was very friendly and extremely accommodating. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as comfortable as possible.

Negative: The bathroom was clean but the shower floor didn’t look clean. It may have been stained though.

Positive: It was a real treat to stay in this impressive house. We were lucky with the weather and were able to walk around the lake and enjoy the location. It was a perfect distance from the A26 motorway to make a proper break in our journey. The hostess was friendly and very helpful, making us feel at home. The room was spacious, as was the bathroom.

Negative: The twin room was rather sparsely furnished, but it was warm and the beds were comfortable.

Positive: A lovely rambling old place in extensive grounds in the country but not far from the autoroute. Very large room Quiet location so great for a good nights sleep. Good breakfast Pleasant host at breakfast, happy to provide some history of the house.

Negative: Clearly the owner is gradually updating the house so it is not perfect. For example the towels need replacing and the curtains are substandard. However it’s a big place to update which, understandably, takes some time.

Summary: Quiet individual country location. Great for those wanting tranquility and sleep !

Positive: Very convivial shared table breakfast with the wonderful host on hand to share with us some of the Chateau's amazing history.

Negative: We had to leave to get to Le Shuttle, but would ahve loved to stay longer to hear more about the Chateau and family's history.

Positive: This accommodation is in a fantastic setting and the room was lovely. The garden and outdoor space is amazing as well. The host was so friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I can highly recommend this accommodation and we will definitely be staying there again.

Positive: We have stayed here 4 times now whilst enroute as it’s an easy drive from or to the Channel Tunnel. There are some great small historical towns along the Somme nearby worth visiting. Beautiful location and grounds to walk in. Lovely old building. Our hosts were very welcoming. Rooms are spacious and simply furnished but more than adequate. 10 min drive to supermarkets in St Quentin.
