Positive: The room was gorgeous and the bed very comfortable. Unfortunately we did not get to use the restaurant as they were fully booked, which was a letdown. We did get dinner in our room but it was a set menu so no choice. The bar was very nice.

Negative: No availability in the restaurant.

Summary: We had a lovely stay.

Positive: The swimming pool and the SPA was wonderful. The location & calm surrounding of the hotel was exceptional. The Michelin restaurant an extra +.

Negative: Some of the reception staff (at night) could be friendlier

Positive: The property is stunning, quiet and private. We loved the very kind, professional and welcoming staff, fluent in both French and English. The Concierge showed us around and gave us the history of the property, and the bartender explained the seasonal cocktails and presented her collection of gins. We were made to feel at home. The spa is incredibly clean and high-end. The food is excellent at the Bistro with an emphasis on local produce. The rooms are impeccable, with very comfortable beds and bathrooms. The environment of the property is very well maintained and preserved : the forest is beautiful with many paths to explore and the biodiversity is very special (we observed a few rare insects and amphibians on site). We will definitely come back.

Positive: Beautiful Chateau in an amazing location on the banks of the Blavet. Fabulous pool area, superb tennis court & spa in the old stables. The breakfast was brimming with local produce & oysters & delicious food in the bistro.

Negative: Nothing although there is not much to do in the surrounding area. Stay at the Chateau & enjoy the facilities including lovely forest tracks with outdoor gym equipment

Positive: Such a memorable place to stay. The whole experience was outstanding. The Michelin star restaurant blew us away. The room in the castle was done in a colonial style. Beautiful. We would love to go back again.
