Positive: Evening meal was superb in beautiful surroundings. Very attentive staff.

Negative: Quite a way from the motorway which adds onto your journey. Not a problem if you’ve not got 8 hours more to drive!

Negative: Very remote so location not really great Food and drink expensive and somewhat overpriced But facilities ( excluding gym) are great and staff very helpful Gym is a tiny room with rudimentary equipment

Positive: The spa facilities are great. Lovely restaurant and bar. Really enjoyed our stay here. Very dog-friendly hotel!

Negative: Don't let this stop you from staying at this hotel, but just to give management some feedback, the mattresses and pillows were too hard. Also, the dog that belongs to the hotel attacked my little puppy at reception as we were walking past. Luckily my dog was on the lead, but I don't think it's acceptable to have such a big dog wandering around knowing that he might not like the attention of other dogs.

Summary: We had a lovely time here and I would definitely come back here again.
