Positive: This place is magical. Right in the jungle. Staff is amazing. Our guide Romario and Daniel who helped him were fantastic. Romario knows the jungle inside out and can spot exotic animals like armadillos, caymans, and all types of monkeys and birds. He and all the other staff are welcoming and kind. The food is wonderful. There are excursions every day which are diverse and give you a great feel for the jungle with a lot of wildlife viewing. I highly recommend this place. Not that depending on the number of nights you book, the excursion package changes, so you can check with them what yours contains.

Positive: I loved the location right on the river, I liked my room. The food was lovely. The guides for our excursions were fantastic.

Negative: What could be improved would be a mosquito net in my room, The kitchen staff were not very friendly, I know they didn't speak English, but they can still try as I try with my poor spanish....to try to communicate.

Positive: We had the best time for four days at Dolphin Lodge. Chico and Penguin were fantastic guides - so knowledgeable, kind and fun. The food was amazing- so tasty and varied, great for vegetarians. It really was the experience of a lifetime to stay in the Amazon rainforest.
