Summary: This is an old motel in Arco, Idaho. There aren't many choices and I am not sure the alternative is any better. The staff seems to largely be the owner and family. They were nice and friendly, but this is a real down home operation. This is an old school motel with virtually no amenities. There is an excellent diner one block away for dinner and breakfast, however, which helped. The room we had was huge even if old. This is a reasonable place to stay if you are visiting Craters of the Moon and need to spend a night to spend a second day at that park.

Summary: Room was quaint and bedding clean. Room door security chain had the right end screwed in/attached to an obviously detached door trim board. Effectively no security with that. Of course, you should carry your own protection device (this is Idaho!). Otherwise, points for - sink and shower hot water/pressure was great. Parking space right in front of room. AC worked excellent, had microwave and fridge. Bed was ok. Price was decent. DK is a good deal.

Meri Jun 27, 2026 06:48:46 AM
Summary: This is an older motel and it shows in the room we stayed in. It was functioning and pet friendly and was just great for one night. Needs a bit of freshening up but did have micro and fridge, also Directv but most of the channels did not work.
Raymond Jun 23, 2026 10:25:00 AM
Summary: It was an old motel that was not real well maintained.
Andrew Jun 22, 2026 05:05:00 AM
Summary: The only other hotel in Arco looked worse.
