Positive: Everything was perfect about Diwan House! It was just 15 mins walk to the Taj, it was peaceful, extremely clean, wonderful hosts, lovely food, and the view from the garden terraces was fantastic too! I was a solo female traveller and felt very safe and well looked after. Suraj and Sohail were fabulous hosts!
Negative: Everything was wonderful. I can’t fault the property at all

Positive: We stayed for two nights with two kids aged 7 and 10. While the rest of the city is very busy, the street is very calm. Hotel is very nicely decorated and rooms fully correspond to the description. Owner is very friendly and shares good advise. Nice view of the Taj Mahal from the terrace

Positive: Absolutely loved this beautiful place. Wish I'd stayed longer! Clean and newly refurbished. Excellent toiletries and snacks. Delicious breakfast. The owners, Suraj and his lovely wife were so welcoming, and even assisted an issue I had with the Uber I took from Delhi.
Negative: I liked everything. No improvements neccessary.

Positive: Very helpful and warm family owners, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Room was very nice and very good view. Close to Taj Mahal. Possibility to get excellent home vegetarian dinner across the road at sister location for 600 roupies. Overall an excellent stay and I would go back and I strongly recommend.

Positive: I entered the homestay thinking it would be another one of those places that would address our requests, provide us amenities, and nothing more. Safe to say, this booking exceeded my, and my parents' expectations, from the moment we set foot inside. Please take a bow, Mr. and Mrs. Talan, for the way you have gone about to ensure that 'Atithi Devo Bhava' is not just a slogan, but an experience. Pros: Fantastic location Fantastic amenities Fantastic housekeeping Fantastic homemade food prepared by the hosts Fantastic attitude while dealing with the guests In short, fantastic everything.... Cons: Only two days to experience this wonderful place, should have planned for a longer stay.... Diwan House has set a very high bar that I doubt any other place would clear for our future stays across the country. May you keep prospering in the coming years and have people thronging your place to experience an unforgettable stay. Thanks from the Singh family, we are truly humbled to have met you guys who have redefined what a host should be.
