Summary: The amenities of this hotel are impeccable. The breakfast buffet, and beautiful breakfast room, are a dream. The rooftop pool and restaurants are incredible, and there is no better view of the city than from up there! The restaurant food is delicious and cocktails are divine. Order the “8!” Most of the staff members are very nice! The fitness center is well-equipped and also has a lovely view of the city. Be sure that your hotels.com reservation DOES include breakfast, otherwise you will be surprised by the 32 euros price. All of these things said, the beds are truly horrible. We had a four night reservation, and slept miserably each night. We did not have the same bed issue at other Greece hotels.

Summary: We spent a lot of time debating whether the hotel should be 5 stars, but aside from this we enjoyed the stay and was in a great location close to the metro and centre. Views were amazing from the roof top pool, bar, restaurant and the hotel was very comfortable considering we stayed during a heatwave. Staff were excellent. Would stay there again given the opportunity.

Summary: This hotel is truly incredible. The decor of the lounge spaces and restaurants is stunning. The rooftop provides the most picturesque views of Athens….and we greatly enjoyed the rooftop pool and restaurant! The breakfast buffet is far beyond a usual hotel buffet….more options of delicious food than we could possibly eat! The staff members were courteous and helpful. The room was clean and well-appointed. However, the bed was very uncomfortable.

Summary: the rooms need update, they were from like the late 1990s. everything was okay overall, cant still understand why it was so expensive though. I know there are better options for less money in central Athens.

Summary: Says 5 stars and yes possibly was back in the 1980s not up to standards very uncomfortable beds pulling apart when you sleep, also smells old so as hallways and rooms, drinks very expensive in bars so we didn't drink at all The only 5 stars i will give is for the buffet breakfast and the stuff members Apparently the best hotel in Atherns maybe so but we travel alot and definitely a 4 stars it it wasn't for the awsome breakfast be 3.5 stars. Also i have to add that the rooms are super expensive but i think whole Europe like that now.

Summary: Athens and Greece were fantastic! We stayed for 10 days. Our two night stay at Divani Caravel was rotten. The front desk folks were rude, repeatedly, over several days. Last morning there we were called in 10 minute increments beginning one hour before checkout REMINDING us that checkout was in an hour. The hotel is definitely not a 5 star accommodation. We stayed at two other 5 star spots that were, One in Athens. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The premises, rooms, stafff, restaurant were less than expected.

Summary: I initially was going to rate this place 4/5 by end of week but at the very beginning it was fighting for 3/5. No ironing board to iron your own clothes but you have to pay for the service... I have never heard of this, to pay for the privilege even though I wanted to iron my own clothes. No 2 gripe... Don't put in your directory about shuttle between the hotel and the city centre when you terminated that service.. I went to reception first day to enquire on times of this "shuttle". Guy in reception bluntly said they offer no more of this service... Again for a 5* place, I'd expect a better response and least of all, updated directory's. Service for room was in fact top notch and clean towels and room each time you put in request. Breakfast did the job, but I would not say the foods were great. Pastries were top notch, not the mains though. Now, why with all that it holds a 3*... At the end of my stay, I wanted to store my luggage as late flight, they directed me to put it in a room upstairs, that's fine. I return and collect my bags, 2 people chatting away outside the floor M and I open the door with no bags in it. The guy then shouts "what are you doing?", after explaining that I left the luggage upstairs he then directed me to go back downstairs as the bags got all moved. Again, this lack of communication of process or procedure leads me to think this hotel brands itself as 5* but operates like a 3* hotel with a bad attitude.
