Negative: There are a LOT of steps. We were fine but it was exhausting bringing in the luggage. No one to assist, no elevator.

Positive: Well located. Very responsive staff. Comfortable rooms. They even gave us access to their beach side resort for free!! That was very appreciated.

Negative: There was a foul odeur in one of the 4 rooms we rented that remained all week despite attempts to fix it. Lots of stairs but good to burn off the extra gelato (:

Positive: The apartment in a very beautiful place, absolutely gorgeous cafes and restaurants located in this part of the city. The beach from the hotel Terra san vito is very beautiful, that's a huge bonus from the hotel.

Negative: But beach is not so close. Terra san vito is 8 km away - you need a car, taxi or bus to get there.

Summary: Love Italy! Gaeta is a wonderful place for vacation.

Positive: We absolutely loved out stay. It was very clean and location is incredible. Big room with plenty of ammenities (including a small dishwasher) and a gorgeous view over Gaeta (if you pick a room with a balcony).

Negative: If you are arriving in a car, the parking situation is a bit tricky, but there are options if you communicate with the hotel.

Positive: The room was comfortable, shower was very good.

Negative: Directions from the parking were not clear; when I tried to phone nobody spoke English so had to message:communication all round was not good-no personal interaction at all, simply messages. 110 steep steps to the room! No kitchen essentials supplied: other b&b’s have supplied oil/salt/pepper/coffee/tea etc-not one thing here! No local map/no helpful information re sights/food/restaurants: in fact not sure they could have been less helpful or provided a less well equipped apartment-simply a bed is not good enough for the price.

Negative: It was freezing cold in the room and the bathroom and we had no way of changing the heating. The radiators were just off. We only had an AC which did not heat at all. The bathroom was freezing.
