Positive: Very good location for those who need the Asian side of Istanbul. There is a metro station 50 meters away, the street is mostly pedestrian and there are many shops, restaurants, cafes. All services are available on site. It is safe, the area is often patrolled by police. It's a nice, clean apartment, the owner is very communicative and always tries to help you.

Negative: Nothing related to the apartment. We had bad luck with the actual purpose of our trip to Istanbul. Otherwise we could have taken more advantage of the good location and facilities.

Positive: Close to the apartment is a long shopping street, a lot of food places and a market for fish, fruits etc. The apartment is big enough for 3 people but the third bed is in the living room. We didn’t cook at home so I can’t say anything about that. The host was easy to contact and he brought us a hair blow dryer when we needed one.

Negative: It is quite loud at night because the windows don’t really block out the noise. Also the walls in the bed room are paper thin and you can hear your neighbors talking. The pillows were very hard and uncomfortable. There wasn’t a mirror in the bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend this location for first time Istanbul visitors - only if you’ve been here already and know the touristic places.
