Positive: Location was amazing, and well the place is just stunning! Just a stone throw away from Millers Dale which is where we parked for our walk before heading down to Brosterfield. The hut was clean, warm and snug with everything you could ever need! Our dog was also welcome which made our stay even more special as it was our first little break with our pooch. Bed was extremely comfy and TV worked. The hosts kindly filled the hot tub up for us so we only had to hest it up which went well as instructions were clear and simple. The water also stayed warm over night considering the temperature was dropping so was nice to just put a few logs on and heat it up a little more and we were straight in and able to listen to the birds whilst the sky got light.

Negative: We booked the hot tub which after the wait was lovely! Although the only things I would say is that we didn't get any bath robes and also due to the water being cold that's put into the tub before heating perhaps have hot water? So it may not take so long to heat up especially in the winter. We checked in at 4pm and could get in the tub at 7.30pm after it had warmed up. But again these are only things to pick on as our stay was perfect and we will definitely be back in the summer for a few nights instead of just the one!

Summary: Lovely little hut, just what we needed.

Negative: The bed made me feel a bit claustrophobic being right up to the wall so didn’t sleep well. But that’s just me and personal issues.

Positive: super cozy and was great for a little getaway for 1 night

Negative: Could have been a stronger connection in place for the tv as it kept buffering a lot on Netflix. Would have also been good to have wifi access as the signal wasn’t good in the area. I was also not happy with the booking as I later found out there is an additional charge to use the hot tub (£60). This is still not on the description after I suggested to the owner to ensure this is communicated to people who are looking to book as the images are very misleading. This is also not stated anywhere before booking so I believe I was nearly conned to be honest as it took several attempts to have the invoice amended to the correct amount after I was very clear multiple times I did not want to use the hot tub - so beware!

Summary: Overall, a very nice stay!
