Summary: Our family of 8 adults loved our stay. Plenty of Space and the location is on a quiet street yet easily walkable to all of Brugge.

Summary: It's undeniably lovely: two old Belgian houses renovated with great style. It sleeps 14, we were 11 but the fact that it's two houses means one house (A) is actually intended for 8 people and the other (B) for 6. Of course, the addition's fine but it means that there are 2 kitchen/diners and 2 lounges each sitting the number of people lodged in the house they are in. We wanted to eat together and lounge together so this took some inventiveness and was not comfortable. Furthermore, the kitchens are lacking a real oven, each only has a small saucepan and 2 hobs. The microwave is bizarrely fitted into a lower cupboard below the cutlery drawer, oddly inaccessible. It's a triumph of aesthetic over practicality. We had intended to cook for all 11 of us in the evenings, but this was not achievable. We assume it's intended for a group who will mostly be going out to eat and socialise. We have rented houses for years each December as a group in various places and have not experienced this issue before. Also the Wifi didn't work most of the time, and when it did only for a few minutes at low speed. Reception also varied throughout the house so we all just ended up not bothering. Having said all that, we made the best of it and, as said earlier, it's a lovely place all in all.

Summary: Birthday celebration. Two separate houses within one entrance. There was plenty of room for our party of ten to use the large house to be together and the grandparents slept in the small house. Beautifully designed and decorated houses. Excellent location everything within easy walks. Small supermarket a short distance away.

Summary: We were 10 adults staying at Diephuys14 in Bruges. It was clean, great beds, many bathrooms, nice living space and treats left for us. The location was perfect, great for walking to everywhere we wanted.

Summary: Els was an absolute pleasure to deal with and incredibly helpful in advance with recommendations of where to eat, and letting us know what was and what wasn’t provided in the house (which is enormously helpful - I wish more people did this). We had a marvellous time and my friends kept saying what lovely houses they are. The only thing that we felt hadn’t been made clear is that there were no doors dividing the attic rooms in the left-hand house. It didn’t matter to us, but perhaps a floor plan of the houses would be helpful? They are hard to visualise from the listing. We were 9 people in the end instead of the expected 12, ans there was easily enough room in the right-hand house for us all to gather together. I would highly recommend this, and it’s very conveniently located. Bruges is so beautiful. We couldn’t have been happier.
